Aluminium Bronze Castings from a UK manufacturer
In order to make the most of the forging process, first class casting control is required to make the forging billet. By applying this technology to casting, Copper Alloys Ltd can offer high mechanical properties and reliability in cast products, giving a lower-cost route for less critical applications.
Cast nickel aluminium bronze keeps the properties the alloy family is specified for: seawater corrosion resistance, immunity to biofouling, anti-galling behaviour under load and non-sparking characteristics. Those properties are why the alloy dominates marine pumps, valves, impellers and seawater-handling castings.
Because we melt, cast, forge and machine on one site, castings can be supplied as raw cast product, heat treated, rough machined or fully finished, all released against one quality system with full traceability.
